We welcome you to our Surf and Glamping Camp in Zarautz!
With its privileged location on top of the Gran Camping Zarautz our Surf & Glamping Camp is our new star product for the summer 2021.
Sleep in a generous tent with a real bed, electricity and storage place and all the comfort you need during your surf camp experience.
Check out the waves after your served coffee and a nice, healthy breakfast straight from the hands of our chef.

Surf Lessons
It doesn’t matter if you are about to start your surfing experience or you want to improve your skills.
Join our surf lessons with surf material included the whole day during your entire stay.
Improve your technique and manage to get more waves. Together with our licensed surf coaches you will squeeze out every moment in and outside of the water.
Join our classes in small sized groups, get to know new surf buddies and leave with a big smile!
We use different techniques to get you up on your board and surfing!
Warm up at the beach, learn to read the waves and spot the currents.
Practice your surf moves on our skates, stretch out and gain flexibility with some after surf yoga.
Or practice your balance and core strength on the slack-line.
Surf Classes for different levels are given with up to 6 persons per group with a duration of 1.5 hours. Lessons are in English and Spanish.
You will have insurance coverage for possible accidents included during the surf lessons, ask us for the details.

Rent Material
If you are already experienced but don’t have or want to bring your gear, you can rent a surfboard and suit with us for your stay.
We have material for beginners to advanced surfers. Different soft tops in all lengths and sizes to play around, catch a lot of waves and improve your surfing skills.
If you are already catching your own waves and surfing at an advanced level we have the right hardtops for you.
Depending on the conditions and our availability you can go for shortboards, mini-malibu and longboards. Use it 24/7 during your whole stay!
Sure you like surfing in shorts and bikinis! But if you want to stay inside of the water for a long time you will be glad to have a wetsuit to rely on.
They protect you from rash, keep you warm and yes you do look darn good in them. Choose your size at your arrival and keep it till the end of the week.
Brand new in our rental goods are our surf skates. Surf the streets and enjoy the feeling of carving concrete waves and practice your turns till perfection.
Glamping Tents
Based on the tiny house concept our Glampings will make you feel at home in this nice coastal town called Zarautz!
You will stay in our Glamping tent with two single or a double bed option. You will have space underneath the bed for storage as well as a clothing rack for your gear.
We also provide every tent with its own connection for power supply. Charge your mobile phone or watch a surf movie on your laptop while enjoying your after surf siesta.
And of course, for your cosiness we also set up some lights to brighten up your Glamping Tent during the night time.
The tents are spacious and tall enough to stand up straight and stretch out while enjoying your privacy.
In short; the tents come with electricity, bed sheets, tables and chairs and a small ‘terrace’ area. If traveling alone or with your partner in crime. You sure will love your new home!
Our Food
For your convenience and a great holiday feel we will serve you a nice breakfast in the morning from our private kitchen area.
Let the smell of fresh coffee lure you out of your tent and enjoy a sweet or mediterranean breakfast made from local products. During the day and in the evening-time we have drinks available as well as small snacks.
Hang out and meet like minded people while enjoying a cold one after your surf session. Share stories and make plans for the next few days while watching the sun go down and get ready for dinner!
If you are following a special diet or you are allergic to something, no problem! Just let us know when making your reservation and we will fix a nice and tasty alternative for you.

About Zarautz
Surf & Glamp is situated in Zarautz, a true beach town next to San Sebastian in the Bay of Biscay.
The town breathes the coastal atmosphere and lies in a bay surrounded by green mountains with a huge beach that stretches for 2,5 km with different surf breaks for all levels.
It is famous for its gastronomy with plenty of traditional ‘pintxo’ bars, the Basque version of “Tapas”.
Just imagine a stylish small meal on a stick, best to enjoy with a good wine or a cold beer.
Walk through the small streets of Zarautz and its various plazas and bounce in between numerous Pintxo restaurants and bars and have a bite of this basque speciality.
Join the famous nightlife and beach parties, relax while enjoying the sunset on a nice terrace or chill at the beach with your fellow surf buddies and the sounds of the sea and your ukulele.
Glamping Location
Our Surf & Glamping Camp is located within our private camp ground on the Gran Camping in Zarautz. It is in the middle of a fantastic natural green environment and has a sanitary building in direct proximity to our Surf & Glamping Camp.
Perfect to cruise around with our surf skates and long boards. Practice your balance on the slack-line underneath the trees or chill and read a book in the shade.
There are several restaurants and wineries just around the corner, a bar with Wifi and a meeting spot for public use. There is a a little camp site shop that offers the basic things you need.
Looking for a surf shop or need some gear? Just come along our surf shop at 5 min. walk from the campsite.
Last minute items like surf wax, fixing material, sunscreen, rental surfboards or one of our nice Good People Surf shirts or sweaters. We sure got you covered!
Have a chat, talk about waves and enjoy a nice coffee or a cold one with your surf buddies.
Activities
There are so many things to find out during your stay in our Surf & Glamp Camp in Zarautz.
We offer activities as Stand Up Paddle Board Tours on the river or at the beach of Getaria.
Bike rental and tours are available to explore the beautiful surrounding mountain side with its amazing views and incredible descents.
Enjoy early morning or evening Yoga Lessons with your fellow camp buddies and stretch out and gain some flexibility and practice your balance after a day full of surfing and nice activities.
Zarautz is located just next to San Sebastian, perfect for a city trip as well as a visit to the Pagoeta natural park.
Hike through nature or enjoy an old fashioned urban shopping spree with culinary and cultural shortcuts.
Also you can do different Camino de Santiago routes from Zarautz for amazing landscapes and ocean views, only accessible for those walking the path.
Tips from the locals
Use our skate-longboards during your stay for a roll into town or to practice those concrete surfing moves on the campsite.
And, don’t forget to check out the amazing skate park just right next to the beach!
Hit the ice cream shops, cruise through the old town and check out the local bars and restaurants.

The Txakoli is a wine with a special denomination loved by tourists and locals alike. It’s cold, fresh and tasty and its pure Basque wine culture.
Visit the traditional cider restaurant and enjoy one of Basques best culinary adventures within walking distance. You will agree, stakes taste best when served in huge pieces and cider when served straight from the barrel.
Check out the ruins of “Mollari” just a stroll from the campsite. Enjoy your walk along the cliffs and discover hidden spots that will lead you right into the rich past of Basque mining history.
Enjoy the multiple green areas and check out the best spot to see the sun go down behind the beautiful fishing village of Getaria.
